Figurine of Crau Plain Grasshopper © Marc Hermitte

A figurine bearing the effigy of the Crau Plain Grasshopper has just been added to our range of educational tools designed as part of the Life SOS Crau grasshopper project! Modelled from photos, then 3D printed using resin, it is a marvel of precision.

Thanks to Marc Hermitte’s patience, meticulousness and talent, you would think it was alive!

Our team is excited to finally be able to show you this rare, discreet and much talked about occupant of the coussoul, which until now has been difficult to observe.

Integrated into our educational kit, you will be able to meet it during events and activities dedicated to it.

It also joins the ranks of the species presented at the Écomusée de la Crau, as well as in the zoological parks of La Barben and the Museum of Besançon, partners of the LIFE project.

Many thanks to Marc Hermitte for this exceptional custom-made creation!
