Home » News » An educational kit dedicated to the Crau Grasshopper

This kit, made up of fun and educational materials, includes 7 activities:

  • a “Species classification” animation ;
  • an “SOS Crau Grasshopper” board game on genetic diversity;
  • two games on magnetic boards: “Threats and biodiversity in the Crau” and “The life cycle of the Crau Grasshopper”;
  • two creative activities: “Crau grasshopper mask” and “Crau grasshopper in clay”.

The visuals used to create the materials were taken from the film “Un secret de la Steppe”, produced by  Les Fées spéciales.

This kit has already been used by 8 classes visiting the Crau Ecomuseum in May 2023, and by the 797 visitors we welcomed to our stands at the Camargue and Delta du Rhône Festival in May 2023, and at the Provence farmers fair in June 2023.

Une version numérique de cette mallette est également mise à disposition des enseignants qui le souhaitent.
