Spring 2023: event season!

Proud ambassadors of the Crau Plain Grasshopper will be present at the following events:

• 19-22 May: Festival de Camargue et du Delta du Rhône in Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône (13), at the “village of the bird”.
• 27 May: Fête de la Nature in Saint-Martin-de-Crau, at the Écomusée de la Crau
• 2-4 June: Salon des agricultures de Provence in Salon-de-Provence
• 10 June at 3pm: Lisbeth ZECHNER, project manager of the LIFE SOS Crau Grasshopper project, will hold a short conference “The Crau Plain Grasshopper, why protect it?”, during the Open Day of the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, at the Centre départemental de Rasteau (84). An opportunity to meet her and discuss with her about the issues related to this species!

Don’t hesitate to join us to discover this discreet species, and to discuss about our conservation project! The programme will include information and discussions, games and activities open to all on our stand!

Guided tours of the National Nature Reserve coussouls de Crau are also offered by the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur to discover the habitat of the grasshopper:

17 June from 8am to 11am
