Linda Bröder (CEN PACA) arrived in November to lead the project’s pastoralism-related activities, taking over from Perrine Turiez (CA13), who has set sail to other projects.
Since the beginning of the LIFE project, Perrine has been the interface between the pastoral world (shepherds, breeders) and the stakeholders involved in the conservation of the Crau Plain Grasshopper. A true interpreter between both sides. And Perrine carried out this role with remarkable dedication and passion! Many thanks for all your hard work.
Linda has the dual perspective required for this position, that of an ecologist and a livestock farmer: she has a thesis in ecology, the subject of which was… the Crau grasshopper, of course! She also has an agricultural diploma (BPREA) focused on small ruminant farming, and experience working on various farms.
She brings new ideas and energy that will undoubtedly help to ensure the project runs smoothly until its completion in 2026! Welcome, Linda!

The end of 2025 also saw the departure of Chloé Allievi (CEN PACA), the team’s “Swiss Army knife” for the past two years, who was in charge of countless disparate tasks, from communication to population monitoring and event organization! Bravo for your versatility and all the best for the future, Chloé !
