With this in mind, the hut on the Peau de Meau site, which has fallen into disrepair over time, has been undergoing gradual renovation work since 2023. After an initial stage of restoring the facades, walls and ceilings and installing a septic tank, the spring of 2025 was devoted to replacing the woodwork (custom doors and windows), building a protective wooden porch, and repairing the floor (tiled paving).

The structural work is now complete. What remains, to make it functional, is to renovate the plumbing and electrical systems. This is no little task in the Crau, as the systems designed must be largely self-sufficient, as the sheds are not connected to the local water and electricity networks.
