Using agricultural machinery, the soil was gently decompacted, a key step in regenerating it. Aerating the soil and bringing pebbles back to the surface are essential to initiate a natural vegetation recovery process. Additionally, poudingue boulders were strategically placed in specific locations to guarantee long-term protection of the area by preventing motorized access.

This project represents more than just the removal of a track: it contributes to the restoration of the natural habitat of the Crau Plain Grasshopper and other species in the Centre Crau, covering an area over 4 kilometres long and 3 to 4 meters wide.
