The end of 2025 saw changes in the LIFE team!
Present only in the Crau grasslands, the Crau Plain Grasshopper is little known to the public. Awareness of the drastic loss of insects and the impact of this loss on biodiversity is growing, but a great deal of work remains to be done to raise awareness.
Informing the public and raising awareness of the issues related to the Crau Plain Grasshopper and its habitat, obtaining their support, and even their contribution to the preservation of this endangered insect, is one of the key objectives of the LIFE project.

All the beneficiaries of the LIFE project (Conservatoire d’espaces naturels de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Chambre d’agriculture des Bouches-du-Rhône, zoologicals gardens La Barben and the Besançon Museum) will implement the following actions:
