What is the LIFE SOS Crau grasshopper Festival?

For 3 years now, the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur has been coordinating the LIFE SOS Crau grasshopper project, one of the aims of which is to preserve the Crau Plain Grasshopper by raising public awareness of the need to protect its habitat: the Crau!

As part of this project, we are organising a major festival on Sunday 13 October 2024 at the Domaine départemental des Aulnes to highlight the Crau and its biodiversity, the people involved (farmers, associations) and local know-how. Find out more about the programme here!

Who can take part?

Everyone is invited to take part, the aim being to showcase the Crau region and its stakeholders. If you are interested in running a stand (for commercial purposes and/or to raise awareness) on the day, you can register by filling in the form here, before 30 March 2024.

When will it be held?

The Festival will be held all day long from 10am to 7pm. It’s a festive, family-friendly event that will give you the chance to discover the Crau region in an exceptional setting!

Where will you be?

The Festival will be held at the magnificent Domaine départemental des Aulnes, a unique setting on the banks of the Etang that will delight young and old alike.

Who’s it for?

The Festival is aimed at everyone, with activities for the younger ones, nature outings, stalls and much more for the older ones!

What can you do?

We offer you the opportunity to set up a stand on the day of the festival, either for commercial purposes or to raise awareness. However, we reserve the right to refuse your application if there are no more spaces available.

You will not be asked to pay a stand fee, as this festival is funded by the LIFE programme!

How do you register?

All you have to do is fill in the form available here before 30 March!
